Bounty hunter Bucum Jackson (Ice Cube) teams with the small-time con artist, Reggie Wright (Mike Epps), that he is pursuing, in an attempt to locate a missing stash of diamonds and a lottery ticket worth millions of dollars. Bucum and Reggie find themselves in a race to the finish as they embark on an unlikely partnership that should - when all is said and done - prove beneficial to them both. A bounty hunter chases and catches suspects all over Miami . He ends up getting shot at and start to second guess his job as a bounty hunter . While he feels he need to be making more and having real money . Meanwhile Reggie Wright will soon be his next target after playing and winning the lotto at the liquor store . The two are in for a wild journey ahead of them after witnessing an attempt diamond heist. They decided to put aside the arguing and differences to recover the stones and turn in Reggie's and Gina lotto ticket . After sitting through "All About the Benjamins" it's a real enjoyable action/comedy. This is the story of a bounty hunter (Ice Cube, who also co-wrote with first-time screenwriter Ron Lang and co-produced) who's on the pursuit of a bail jumper ("Next Friday" co-star Mike Epps) and their footchase ends up at drop-off for a major diamond where the killers left a few dead bodies in the process. I'll admit Cube is really showing his talents as an actor, screenwriter, and producer. And, Epps, is real hilarious in this movie. Cubevision projects have been getting better. And, Ice Cube shows a lot more comedic talents than he did in the last two "Fridays". I also like the bad guys, especially the ring leader of the heist. I feel that this is one of the most plot-driven movies Ice Cube has done since "Players Club". And, if you look hard at "All About the Benjamins" it's not just an Ice Cube movie. It's an actor/screenwriter hard at work. But, only one thing this sounds more like a movie that would be released in the summer, not early spring. Frankly I am getting really sick of all these predictable bad boy movies. The shot this critic takes a Flanagan's accent appeared to be all he could find to whine about, but it's ok to whine about a Scottish accent,..,… but oh Lawdy dont bad mouth Ebonics. I first spotted Flanagan in Sunset Strip and have followed is progress…Brave heart…Gladiator… Attila to name a few, gave us a small glimpse of his real intensity, I think this guy could be the next Hollywood bad boy. The same old bad guys are getting as predictable as the films they appear in, Yea we all love Al Pacino but audition this Flanagan in a modern version Scare face and he might just shock you. His accent getting on your nerves? Perfect….he did his job with his real voice, not some faked lily white English accent. Once again, this guys intensity was gained by surviving some pretty tough streets and if cast in the right spot, his accent, which is not staged, will not only get on your nerves but his role will chill you to the bone…. I have seen some outtakes, and with his glasses off delivering some pretty tough talk right into the camerea this guy could shake up even the toughest of hombres…disturbing more like it. Those film going PC folk will be lying in beds when he gets cast in the role he should be in crying 'Make him stop Make him stop!' ….just keep your eye on him….and certainly dont turn your back!…Now if I could only spel. The unnecessary nastiness, even sadism, of much of the violence also bears mentioning if you're expecting more of the benignly cartoonish silliness of Cube's lone directing effort, "The Players Club."
